I can’t get enough of Korean lip tints and the latest addition to my growing collection is unbelievably cute. I received this Tony Moly x Pokémon Pika Pika Get It Tint in 02 Red Hot from my parents for Christmas (do I have amazing parents or what?!) and I absolutely adore it.

Part of the Tony Moly x Pokémon collaboration from 2016, this little wonder offers a vibrant colour while moisturising my lips. I’m obsessed with the Korean beauty trend for a graduated lip colour (which gives a ‘just eaten a cherry lollipop’ effect) because not only is it super flattering but it’s perfect for a day or night look.

I feel as though I should point out that I’m not a really huge fan of Pokémon. I loved the anime series when it came out in 1997 (I’m showing my age!) and even collected some of the cards.

Although I’ve never played Pokémon GO (please don’t judge!), I’ve always had a soft spot for one of its main characters, Pikachu. Combine that cuteness with Korean beauty and I’m absolutely sold. The matter isn’t even up for debate.

The packaging of this lip tint makes my heart sing. IT’S. JUST. SO. ADORABLE. There’s even a cute little Pikachu on the bottle!

This lip tint glides onto my lips with ease and has serious staying power. The sheer formula isn’t sticky and the warm red tone is beautiful. I apply a small amount from the inside of my lips, leaving the outside bare and press my lips together for the finished result. This can be repeated a few times for a stronger look.

When I’ve finished this, you can guarantee the empty bottle is going to take pride of place among the others!
