I’m not going to lie; I’m obsessed with adorable beauty packaging (who isn’t?!). It certainly doesn’t come much cuter than this Panda’s Dream Brightening Eye Base from Tony Moly. I mean, just LOOK AT IT! It looks like a panda!
Moving on… Let’s talk about why this is so much more than novelty packaging.
We’re supposed to get the recommended 7-8 hours of sleep a day but this can be difficult when you’re travelling or if you’re binge-watching a box-set (I’m currently enjoying Matt Berry’s Toast of London). Both of which can result in dark under-eye circles. Ugh.
Fortunately, Tony Moly has a lovely solution to this beauty concern in the form of Panda’s Dream Brightening Eye Base. It claims to brighten skin and give a well-rested appearance.
I apply this after my regular eye cream and gently pat it into my skin. It’s a light, creamy formula which is easily absorbed. I’m not going to claim this magically eliminates dark circles but it does a pretty good job at disguising them and making them less noticeable. It’s also a lovely eye primer for foundation and concealer.
The skin under my eyes looks illuminated whenever I use this. FYI: A little really does go a long with this. If I’m overzealous in my application, it can look a bit cakey. So not a look I’m going for. Due to the super creamy texture of this eye base, it’s very easy to get more of the product than you might require.
Ingredients include pearl extracts to help brighten skin. Overall, I think this is a lovely product. I’ll be keeping the empty container when I’ve finished using it. Of course.
