Parched skin is a thing of the past with this amazing Scinic Aqua All in One Ampoule. I picked this beauty up during a trip to TK Maxx (or as I like to call it, K-beauty heaven!).
Ampoules (also known as essences or serums) are a great way of adding moisture to your skin after using a cleanser and toner. This ampoule aims to take the place of your regular toner and essence, hence the name ‘All in One’.
I’ve seen this brand a lot on social media (oh, Instagram how you tempt me with your posts of the Scinic Honey All in One Ampoule (another product I’m longing to try!) and I couldn’t believe it when I spotted it on the shelf in TK Maxx.
First of all, this is FANTASTIC value for money. For the same price as a few glossy magazines, you’re getting a whopping 250ml of product! I’ve been using this for several weeks and there’s still so much product left. Be still my beating beauty junkie heart…
I don’t know about you but for me it’s the time of year when my skin freaks out. It doesn’t know when it’s going to get warmer and using the central heating can be a blessing and a curse (I want to stay warm but I don’t want my face to be starved of moisture).
This ampoule is just what I need to hydrate my skin and boost moisture levels. Although its aim is to replace a toner and essence, I still like to use my regular toner underneath this and apply an essence afterwards.
It contains the delightful niacinamide to brighten skin, soothing plant extracts and nourishing sea water to protect skin and revive a lacklustre complexion. It’s very lightweight on my skin, which is very helpful considering I have several steps to my skin care routine (#sorrynotsorry).
The product is a pale blue gel with blue marine collagen capsules which burst when applied to the skin. It has a lovely, fresh scent. I love that it comes with a plastic spatula too. I apply it with the spatula to my face and neck, tapping it into my skin for better absorption. I think I’m in love.
I have a confession to make: I forgot to take this with me to my recent trip Slovenia and I noticed my skin didn’t feel as dewy as it is when I use this. Note to self: always make sure I have all of my skin care products with me when I’m on holiday!
