The Neogen White Truffle Hydramax Knit Mask will give you instantly hydrated skin. It’s an ideal luxurious treat when you want to pamper yourself. Think of it as a facial from a top-notch spa. Without the hefty price.
As I previously mentioned in my review of the Laneige Cica Sleeping Mask, I forgot to pack sheet masks for the flight home (oops, my bad!) so my skin needed lots of moisture the next day. I’m already a fan of the Neogen Pink Cactus Knit Mask so I couldn’t wait to use the white truffle version.
Made from a unique soft knit material, this offers intense hydration. Because it covers the face and neck, it ensures your neck receives the same TLC as your face. Good ol’ Neogen.
Powerful ingredients to achieve nourished skin
This innovative knit mask is dripping with essence, so it’s excellent value for money. It contains white truffle, which is high in vitamin C to brighten skin and vitamin B12 to target hyperpigmentation. It’s also rich in vitamin B6, a key ingredient for banishing dry patches and skin irritation.
Ceramide maintains moisture in the skin and forms a protective layer to ensure the skin’s barrier isn’t dry or irritated. Sodium hyaluronate also helps skin retain moisture. It’s a pleasure to see niacinamide high up on the ingredients list. This powerful skin-brightening ingredient can even out a patchy skin tone and targets the first signs of ageing like fine lines. Another anti-ageing ingredient is adenosine, which is derived from yeast.
Moisture-rich hyaluronic acid helps make skin supple and eliminates dry skin. Extracts of propolis and royal jelly reduce skin inflammation. The former also clears pores so it’s an ideal sheet mask to use if you want to reduce the appearance of pores or blackheads. Phytosphingosine targets damaged or inflamed skin to encourage a healthy complexion and the Korean holy grail of skin care ingredients, centella asiastica extract offers additional relief from irritated skin.
Avocados aren’t just for eating you know, they’re an excellent skin care ingredient to brighten, moisturise and protect skin. Hence why avocado oil features in this knit sheet mask. There’s also a combination of other oils like peppermint, orange, rose, camomile and olive to ensure skin feels refreshed no matter what.
An easy way to get an in spa experience at home
After double cleansing with an oil cleanser and a cleansing foam, I followed up with a toner and applied this mask. I love that it contains so much essence (60ml of concentrated white truffle radiant moisture essence). Let me be perfectly honest. I’m a total sheet mask addict and a sheet mask really has to blow me away to make me fawn over it. Just like this one.
My skin felt immediately soothed wearing this mask. It covered my face really well and had a lovely tight fit. Although I initially curled up with a glossy magazine, it was easier to lie down with this because the neck part started to crinkle a little if I moved. I left it on for an extra 5-10 minutes because it was still so full of essence. I couldn’t wait to see the results.
This made my skin so radiant. Not only was it smoother and firmer but it looked visibly brighter and less congested. My neck looked and felt lifted and moisturised for the whole day. Using this was like having a facial at a spa for a faction of the price.
I applied the leftover essence to my face and neck and layered a moisturiser on top to help seal in the moisture. However, because the essence is very rich this mask might be better suited for evening use.
It was a pleasure to review this Neogen knit sheet mask and I would definitely buy it in the future. After all, who says you can’t spoil yourself with a luxury sheet mask now and again?
