Chanel. Chanel. Chanel. Why do they insist on making such beautiful lipsticks when they know I’m powerless to resist a Chanel beauty haul? I’m in love with their new Rouge Coco Stylo Lipstick. I couldn’t help but buy a matching lip liner.
Rouge Coco Stylo Lipstick in 208 Roman, £26
Chanel Rouge Coco Stylo Lipstick pens launched earlier this year and this is my second purchase (you can see my first Rouge Coco Stylo Lipstick pen here). I love wearing berry pink lipstick colours, particularly in the summer. This raspberry pink shade is beautiful.
The colour is slightly shimmery and highly pigmented. The blue undertones are very flattering for my skin tone.
I like how simple this lipstick is to use. The creamy texture means it glides onto my lips with ease. I alternate between using it with a matching lip liner for a glossy pout for the evening (see below) or blotting it onto my lips for a matte stained effect during the day.
The slim shape makes it easy to fit into the smallest of handbags (great for me because I have quite a few tiny handbags!). I’m so impressed that I might have to buy another colour!
Le Crayon Lèvres Precision Lip Definer in 55 Fuschia, 17.50
This creamy lip liner matches the above lipstick perfectly. It’s easy to use and the lip brush makes application very precise.
I like to use the lip liner across my entire lips before applying my lipstick to make the colour last longer. I love that this comes with a pencil sharpener… there’s nothing worse than a blunt lip pencil!
