I’m so excited to share my latest beauty haul with you. I bought these products during my recent holiday to Split, Croatia. I love trying out different products and I couldn’t help but add a few new additions to my beauty cupboard.
Here’s what I bought…
Seven Day Wellness Cure Ampoules, Balea at dm-drogerie markt, £3.73
First of all, how cute are these little ampoules? I’m a big fan of beauty ampoules. All you have to do is break one to open it and apply the product to your face and neck.
These can be used for a week’s worth of pampering (although for such a fantastic price, this could definitely be a repeat purchase!). The ampoules aim to target different skin irregularities such as congested or stressed skin and include moisturising, anti-stress and fresh ampoules.
This ampoule kit claims to boost skin and make it look radiant. The moisturising ampoules have passionflower extracts in them to keep skin hydrated and the anti-stress ampoules include a scavenger complex to protect skin against stress from environmental factors.
Other ingredients include spilanthes amcella flower extract which has anti-inflammatory properties and helps fight ageing as well as melissa leaf extract to calm skin.
Sea Buckthorn Oil, Müller, £2.50
From sunburn to skin rashes, Sea Buckthorn oil is well-known for its healing properties against a variety of beauty problems. It’s particularly good at slowing down the ageing process by boosting skin’s elasticity and providing intense moisture with antioxidant nutrients.
Sea Buckthorn oil also contains vitamin E and omega 3, 6, 9, and 7 for further nourishment. Apparently, it’s also helpful when dealing with redness and rosacea so I’m very intrigued to try this! This oil can be used on the face and body.
Sensitive Day Cream with Hamamelis Camomile, Alverde Naturkosmetik at dm-drogerie markt, £2.72
Camomile is very soothing for sensitive skin (and particularly great if you suffer from rosacea. Considering this face cream costs less than a monthly fashion magazine, it would have been silly of me not to buy it. After all, we all love a beauty bargain don’t we?
Ingredients include vitamin E, linoleic acid and camomile extracts to nourish sensitive skin. Mango and shea butter are also included to smooth skin.
I’m usually extremely loyal to a moisturiser once I’ve found a good one but I’m curious to see what this is like for my skin.
Organic Cleansing Oil with Goji Berry Oils & Q10 Alverde Naturkosmetik at dm-drogerie markt, £3.31
I’m not going to lie. I’m OBSESSED with facial cleansing oils. There’s something so relaxing about removing my make-up and cleansing my skin properly.
I love how easy oils are to use. In order to activate the ingredients in this one (which include citrus peel oil and vitamin E to nourish skin), it’s best to shake the bottle before use.
A few drops of this oil can be distributed onto fingertips and massaged into dry skin. The instructions are to dampen the face with water and leave the foamy emulsion on for a minute before washing off.
Enriched with extracts of natural CoQ10, goji berries, pomegranate, apricot and almond oil, this oil is formulated to be waterproof and extra gentle to skin. It aims to revitalise skin.
Tinted Day Cream Perfect Teint Color Correction with Porcelain Flower Extract, Balea at dm-drogerie markt, £5
We’ve all heard that BB creams (beauty balm or blemish balm) are great to use on our skin. CC creams are equally amazing. They’re incredibly simple to use too. CC stands for colour corrective and they work by correcting skin imperfections such as redness or hyperpigmentation.
I can’t wait to try this. I bought a serum containing porcelain flower extract a few months ago and I jumped at the chance to buy this CC cream with the same ingredient.
The porcelain flower extract (the hoya lacunosa flower) aims to protect skin, disguise any skin impurities and help maintain a blemish-free complexion. Simmondsia chinensis seed oil is also included to boost tired skin and promote radiant skin. It also contains SPF 6 (in German it’s called LSF).
