Sequins, oversized accessories and eye-catching comics and patterns… you didn’t expect the H&M x Moschino collaboration to be anything less than OTT, did you? The Swedish retailer’s latest designer collection perfectly demonstrates American designer Jeremy Scott’s passion for fun and eccentric fashion styles.
Who is Jeremy Scott?
Raised in Kansas City, Missouri, Jeremy Scott is the Creative Director of Moschino and his own label. A fashion design graduate from the Pratt Institute in New York, he’s the go-to designer high profile celebrities turn to when they want to wear an outlandish outfit. He dressed none other than Britney Spears for her iconic 2003 Toxic video, too!
His work with Adidas was sensational, I mean, who doesn’t want to wear a pair of sparkly silver trainers with a fluffy teddy bear on the tongue?
His mainline Moschino collections are packed with statement prints, metallic and iconic cartoons. All of which feature in the H&M collaboration to keep dedicated Moschino fans happy.
Speaking about the collection, H&M Creative Advisor Ann-Sofie Johansson said, ‘I love how Jeremy captures the spirit of MOSCHINO [tv] H&M in the lookbook. This is a loud and proud collection for everyone to share in the fun, no matter who you are or where you are from.’ Amen.

As a self-confessed fashion junkie I’m no stranger to H&M collections with some of the world’s most iconic designers. Some of my favourite ranges to date include Balmain, Kenzo and Erdem.
I’ll be honest, H&M designer collaborations can bring out the worst in shoppers. If you’ve ever experienced the chaos in trying to grab as many items as you can in a short amount of time at these collections, you’ll know exactly what I’m talking about. Forget orderly queues, being in the epicentre is literally a dog eat dog situation. It’s definitely survival of the fittest.
For H&M x Moschino I shopped online which was less stressful (although the the site was down for 20 minutes before the official launch at 9am, which didn’t help!). It was a little frantic trying to add things to the basket before everything disappeared. Several clicks later… and I managed to get the majority of my list. Phew!
Here’s my H&M x Moschino haul:
Overall, I’m really happy with my haul and I can’t wait to wear everything! If you’d like to see how I’m wearing some of the pieces from the H&M x Moschino collection, keep reading my blog and all shall be revealed very soon!
