MIX NEW FASHION WITH A VINTAGE ACCESSORY

Mixing a new item of clothing with a vintage accessory is a chic way to update your look because nobody else will be wearing the same thing.

Imagine that you’ve bought the perfect dress or the perfect pair of trousers. You’ve searched high and low for a cute bag but without any luck. Enter a vintage accessory. I love mixing new pieces in my wardrobe with vintage accessories, it makes an outfit far more interesting.

A small handbag is also super practical for summer evenings. This little vintage Prada number is a welcome change from the enormous handbags I usually carry. I bought it from Corner 93, an adorable vintage shop in Sunderland which is filled with amazing vintage finds including Burberry and Fendi.

To contrast the old with the new I’ll wear my bag with this Kenzo t-shirt. I’m a big fan of pastel colours and tigers and both of those boxes are ticked with this beauty. The lilac shade is a stylish update on their classic tiger design. It goes with everything from navy chino pants to denim shorts.
