Springtime is an exciting time of year. There’s no snow or sub-zero temperatures to worry about (although I’m keeping my fingers crossed as I’m writing this… the UK can be chilly, even in spring!). To celebrate a new season I’m wearing a blue on blue look this week.
If you read my blog, you’ll know that I like big cats. A lot. I’m also a huge fan of Kenzo so this tiger jumper is a win-win situation. As soon as I saw this beautiful light blue number I practically ran over to it in the shop (um, so you can remove the word practically from that sentence. I actually did run).
I’ve teamed the jumper with a vibrant blue leather skirt. It’s so soft and comfortable to wear, I love it! Although I’m wearing blue on blue, I’ve added a pop of contrasting colour with my pastel yellow polo shirt. Polo shirts are a great addition to any wardrobe and I find Lacoste ones are practical and stylish, what more could you ask for?
I’ve kept my accessories fairly minimal this week. My love for sphere earrings is still as strong as ever (I blame Dior!) and these blue ones from Orsay are very cool. They even match my outfit. I love wearing a few big rings at a time and these are two of my favourites.
This teeny tiny bag by Monsieur Lagerfeld is always heavily rotated in my wardrobe. Sure, it might just be big enough to hold my iPhone, a small wallet, keys and lip balm but I enjoy not having to carry a large handbag all the time. Who’s with me?
I am utterly devoted to flatform shoes, so much so that I seriously can’t imagine not wearing them. I’m only 5′ 2″ and if I fancy a break from flats these are an ideal way to boost my height without breaking my ankle in eye-watering stilettos. Note: not all of the shoes in my wardrobe are practical like this but we’ll save that for another day…
