Regardless of the season, I can be found wearing a striped top pretty much throughout the year. It doesn’t matter how many I own, I never seem to be able to resist buying another one. Oops. I blame Edie Sedgwick and Andy Warhol for that. Oh, and Jane Birkin too.
This striped jumper is lovely. Although it’s not strictly a traditional Breton jumper, it’s Breton inspired and I love it. It’s warm and looks great with anything.
Here, I’ve gone for a classic look and teamed it with black jeans. I usually wear a variety of items in winter but because it’s been so cold lately I’ve been keeping myself warm in these fabulous jeans.
Another recurring item in my wardrobe is silver footwear. I own six pairs of silver shoes/boots (and I’ve just purchased another pair!) and this pair are absolutely wonderful. The leather is very soft which makes the boots comfortable to wear. Sometimes silver boots can be uncomfortable but these fit like a glove, they’re a shoe addict’s dream!
For other accessories I’ve gone for a mixture of elegance with a beautiful opal necklace that I picked up in Split, Croatia and extravagance with this this traditional filigree ring, also purchased in Split, Croatia. Pastel pink earrings add a delicate touch.
If you’ve read any of my big cat posts you’ll know that I find them incredibly beautiful animals and when I saw this structured cat ear hat I knew I had to have it. It’s the perfect winter hat, not only does it look stylish but it keeps my ears warm too!
My look:
Hat, Monki; Jumper, Theory; Jeans, J Brand; Ring and Necklace, from independent jewellers in Split, Croatia; Earrings, Orsay; Silver boots, Jones
