This week’s LOTW combines quintessential French style with a touch of eccentricity for Parisian chic inspired style.
With UK temperatures dropping lower each day, it’s definitely time to bring out the warm, cosy jumpers and sweaters. I bought this thick grey jumper from Zara for an on-trend autumn/winter look. The feminine cut means I don’t have to sacrifice style over comfort, plus it’s super warm!
When the weather gets even colder (I’ll be honest, while I complain about being too hot in the summer, I’m really dreading sub-zero winter temperatures) a Peter Pan collared shirt can be layered underneath. I love the button detailing, too. To add to the relaxed vibe of this look, I’ve teamed the jumper with plain black leggings.
The Great British Bake Off May be over (I’m still gutted about that, I mean just how else am I supposed to get my weekly dose of Noel Fielding’s incredible wardrobe?!) but that doesn’t mean I can’t continue to be inspired by Noel’s fantastic style. These red leather cowboy boots are very Vince Noir (Noel’s character in The Mighty Boosh). I’ve had them for almost 10 years but can’t bear to part with them. After all, I’m a firm believer of rewearing pieces from my wardrobe.
Nothing says Parisian chic more than a beret and I adore this red one, which I bought from H&M years ago. It adds a certain je ne sais quoi to any outfit. This minimalist black necklace from Oliver Bonas is the perfect finishing touch.
How about you? What are you wearing for autumn/winter?
My look:
Beret, H&M; Jumper, Zara; Necklace, Oliver Bonas; Leggings, H&M; Boots, Office
