Nothing says spring more than pastel colours, right? It’s no secret that I’m a fan of pink shirts and for this week’s LOTW I’m wearing mine with paint splattered jeans for a modern look. Think Audrey Hepburn meets Andy Warhol.
This beautiful pink shirt from Zara is just what I need for the warmer weather. It’s super soft and the oversized fit makes it ideal to wear with a variety of skirts and trousers. I absolutely love it.
Although I adore classic jeans, it’s always fun to experiment with different styles. This paint splattered pair (also from Zara… I’m not even going to try and deny that it’s one of my favourite shops on the high street) match the shirt perfectly.
The French Open 2017 has officially started in Paris and I couldn’t be more excited! In case you don’t know, I’m a huge fan of Novak Djokovic. He’s an excellent tennis player (understatement) and an advocate for healthy eating. Like me, Djokovic follows a gluten-free diet (oh, be still my beating heart).
In honour of this fantastic sporting event, I’ve accessorised with a lovely Roland Garros tote bag. No prizes for guessing who I’ll be supporting!
Other accessories include a selection of Brazilets (Brazilian wish bracelets) and a futuristic necklace from one of my new favourite stores, Cos.
I firmly believe in re-wearing items from my wardrobe, regardless of how long I’ve had them. I just can’t get on board with the whole ‘throwaway fashion’ thing. Sorry. I bought these fabulous DKNY flatform espadrilles in New York five years ago and I still enjoy wearing them. Espadrilles are always a spring/summer fashion staple!
How about you? I’d love to know which trends you’re rocking for spring!
My look:
