There’s something so chic about wearing an all-black outfit, isn’t there? This week’s LOTW is all about gothic glamour. I’m channelling Lee Dong Wook’s Grim Reaper character in the Korean TV hit, Goblin. If you’re not familiar with this TV show, I highly recommend it. I love it.
I know what you’re thinking. Wearing black from head to toe doesn’t really seem like me, does it? Indeed, my past LOTW outfits have been very colourful but I’m really enjoying trying something different.
These photos were taken at Bokalce Castle in Ljubljana, Slovenia. I spotted this interesting location by accident and thought it fitted the gothic theme perfectly. It’s so Goblin, too!
An advantage to having to endure cold weather is that I can wear a cape. Believe me, if I could wear one every day, I would. This beauty from Topshop is one of my favourites. I bought it years ago but can’t part with it. As well as the dramatic sleeves, it has a lovely belt to nip in my waist.
This leather mini skirt is modern and perfect for this look. I’ve added a leather obi belt to create a sleek outline. A black oriental top like this one (which I snapped up in an amazing shop called Sariko, in Ljubljana) is lovely. I love the red detailing.
You know me, I love a floral headband. This one from H&M is ideal for winter. The deep red and purple colours add a touch of vampy chic to my outfit.
I’ve kept other accessories minimal and stuck to quilted leather Michael Kors gloves (which are super warm btw!) and platform boots, which are very Mary-Kate Olsen!
All that’s left for me to say is, dear Goblin writer, Kim Eun-Sook: I’m ready for my Goblin appearance! I would love nothing more than to work on such a fantastic show. Pretty please!
